Got a question? That’s OK! We hope you find your answer below. Please email us with any other questions or queries.

What size should my digital image files be?

Basically the larger your file is the better. We recommend that you always use the high resolution setting (dpi/ppi) on your camera to ensure the best quality images. That way you’re pretty well assured that any shot you take is printable.

Should I crop or size my images before sending to you?

NO. We prefer to receive the original file from the camera card. It will be checked to make sure that it will enlarge to the size you’ve ordered and we then send you a PROOF to approve before printing. If there are any problems with the file we’ll let you know.

Can I send you a picture from the camera on my mobile phone?

You can BUT usually the resolution of the image is too small to enlarge successfully.

What is digital image resolution?

Digital image resolution is the size of your image, measured in pixels = ‘picture elements’.

A high-resolution image, say 1600 x 1200 pixels will result in a better printed canvas than a low resolution image such as 320 x 240 pixels. If the resolution is too low for the size of the print chosen, the photograph will look fuzzy and unclear.

What can you do to my photos?

We always check the image and correct exposure, saturation and sharpness as required FREE of charge as is conversion to black & white, sepia or a colour tint.

Unwanted people in the background can be removed, any unsightly marks or spots on faces can be retouched.

Old faded photos can be vastly improved.

Text can be added to the image.

*Please note colours may vary slightly from those displayed on the emailed PROOF. Monitors display colours slightly differently as a result of the monitor’s and your personal settings.

How do you print my image on canvas?

We print your image on high resolution, large format printers. Today’s  technology allows for long lasting, vibrant, photo quality images that are fade resistant for over 75 years -  provided they are not subjected to direct sunlight.

How are they mounted?

The canvas is stretched by hand onto high quality timber frames.

What about the cushion covers?

PHOTOMAJIC cushion covers are made from 100% polyester with micro-suede backing (beige colour only), top stitched edging and washable.

How long does it take to receive my canvas or cushion and how is it sent?

Approximately 10 days from your approval of the PROOF.

We use Australia Post - destinations such as WA, NT and North Queensland usually take a week. All prices on the website include postage.
